("PUHALPPAVANI" is the only published composition of S.M. Asana Lebbe Alim Pulavar, who was a scholar in Tamil and Arabic, a renowned poet and an expert in Arabic-Tamil. He was the paternal uncle of A.M.A. Azeez. "Puhalppavani" was reproduced in the book "One Distinguished Family of Moor Street Jaffna" by Marina Ismail and Ali Azeez released in October 2014. The commentary was a radio talk in the programme 'Nool Ula' on SLBC on 27.8.2000 at 8.15 p.m.)
